Some Things To Keep In Mind:
The Weather - Prepare for and dress according to the weather. While there will be an event tent, most activities will take place outdoors and be exposed to the elements. (hat, bug spray, sunscreen, breathable and modest clothing, umbrella, an extra layer for the evening, and appropriate footwear)
Food Containers - If you are preparing or bringing food items, please use disposable containers to help with cleanup, as there will be no access to a washing sink.
The Venue - Out of appreciation for our brother and sister who are kindly making their property available for Jehovah’s service during these two days, we ask that everyone treat their home with care and respect. Please note that there will be no access to the house. A portable restroom trailer will be available on site throughout the day.
Donating - If you have items or a monetary donation you would like to contribute to a specific fund or department—or to be used as the committee sees fit for the day—please contact the appropriate department
Details Important To The Success Of The Day:
Delegates - As a congregation, we have requested a bus to transport our assigned delegates to and from their hotel. Brother Odegard will be coordinating these arrangements and will keep us updated as more information becomes available
First-Aid - An appointed brother will be available to handle first aid in the event of an emergency. There will also be a discreet first-aid station set aside to provide privacy if needed.
Allergen/Dietary Conditions - Please remember to clearly label all dishes and items, as many in the congregation have dietary restrictions and allergen concerns. This will also be very helpful for our delegates who may have similar needs.
Attire - Keep in mind that while we can have a "Western Flare" to our attire, at ALL times during our association with delegates we need to be modestly dressed in meeting/service/convention attire. No shorts, no casual tshirts and no blue jean pants.
